Best Makeup Tips You need to Know
Let’s face it ladies; we watch beauty bloggers and vloggers doing their thing all day long and we are always trying to copy them, but for some strange reasons, our work just never ends up looking as amazing as the pros. To be fair, makeup artists have dedicated their entire life to perfecting the craft, but it also seems as if they’re blessed with a little makeup magic.
As an immature; its sounds really frustrating spending hours on doing makeup; and end up without seeing the expected results. However; we’re rolling back the curtain on some pro tricks that will serious take your makeup game to the next level. Give these simple hacks a try. You will surely be thankful to us.
1. Make Sure That Your Primer Complements Your Foundation.
Whether its oil or water, your primer and foundation must always share the same base; otherwise, they are going to repel each other or will just slide off your face, making it a little difficult to blend.
2. Avoid Peach Fuzz.
Always apply the foundation using downward strokes. Most people have a very thin layer of hair on the face, so applying foundation in the upward stroke will make the hair strands stand out. Looking fresh and pink like a peach can be your goal certainly, but its wise highlight your peach fuzz definitely shouldn’t be.
3. Cover your eyelid with white liner to make any eyeshadow shade pop.
To make a sheer or less pigmented eyeshadow appear more colorful on your eyelid, take a white eyeliner pencil, like Make Up For Ever Kohl Eye Pencil in White, and run it over your entire eyelid. The opaque consistency of the liner will intensify any eyeshadow shade and make it pop instantly against your skin.
4. Create A Conical Shape.
Most of us are used to applying concealer in a semi-circular pattern under our eyes to reduce the appearance of the bags or puffiness. However, for best results, apply the concealer in a conical pattern under the eyes and extend it to almost where your nose ends. It not only does a better job at concealing because it is easy to blend, but it also helps in contouring the sides of your nose.
5. DIY Color Correcting Palette
You probably, by now, have heard about the wonder called color correcting palette. These concealers of various hues are used to cancel out flaws on your face. For example, a green concealer is used for canceling out any redness, lavender for yellow toned discolouration, peach for bruises or blue toned under eye circles, etc. But if you suddenly find yourself without your color correction palette or just want to save money, just mix an eye shadow of the color you want your concealer to be with your normal concealer – and voila! You have your smart and cheap color corrector concealer palette.
